OR

Those who are interested in competing in the Trifitness Challenge held each year at the end of May and in October in Tampa, Florida USA:

I fell in love with Trifitness when I was sick.  I had been in gymnastics, then cheerleading, then fitness, all of which were very click’ish, self-serving, and 100% reliant on how I looked, cultivating unhealthy habits that prevailed during those years.  Trifitness is a competition that has an option to show your physique if that is one of your goals but the rest of the competition is based on athletics and performance.  The community is very welcoming, friendly, and supportive.  You hear people’s stories

The Men’s’ Division

The Men’s’ Division has three events

  • Fitness Skills (bench press, shuttle run, and box jumps)

  • Obstacle course (this is the no running kind…meaning you only run a short distance between obstacles and the entire course takes 1-2 minutes on average)

  • True Grit course (this is like a bootcamp style competition with tire flip, farmers carry, bear crawl, push-ups, hurdles, weighted rope and more)

You can do any or all of these events.

The Women’s’ Division

Women have choices.  Here are the five events:

  • Fitness Skills (bench press, shuttle run, and box jumps)

  • Obstacle course (this is the no running kind…meaning you only run a short distance between obstacles and the entire course takes 1-2 minutes on average)

  • True Grit course (this is like a bootcamp style competition with tire flip, farmers carry, bear crawl, push-ups, hurdles, weighted rope and more)

  • Fitness routine

  • Grace and physique

Women can also do any or all of the events.  The overall title is determined between those who do all five events.

Kids’ division

I think that the kids do the same events as the men.  Age 6 and up.
